iGuard Technology Overviewt
See the Web Host in Action
Every iGuard Biometric / Smart card Security Product has a built-in Web Host that enables all of the computers within the corporate system to straightaway, simultaneously access the device utilizing any Internet Browser, such as Ms Internet Explorer Netscape, chrome, firefox, etc. Different computer systems such as Apple Macs, Microsoft Windows Linux system machines may also access the unit. No extra software is needed. So, regardless if you are in an airport terminal lounge or perhaps a hotel room, you could check if the employees are already at work or not, and you can even manage, modify or even disable their own access privileges to your workplace remotely by way of internet connection supplied by your iGuard Biometric and Smart card Security Product. it is attached to either an external ip or your own network which can be obtained through a VPN link that is accessible from your area.
Guard Functions with Multi Element Authentication:
Along with iGuard, users could be authenticated and confirmed through either Finger print, Smartcard or Pass word. And with respect to the different time period, you can setup the iGuard, so that the users may just simply provide his smartcard to be authorized (for example during high-traffic time period), or necessitates the high-security fingerprint confirmation (such as following office hours or even during week-ends and vacations).
Access Privileges:
When you can effortlessly and easily assign various access privileges to your workers, you can strategy your security better and maximize the usefulness of the recruiting . And with the built-in Web Host technology, iGuard enables you to handle the access rights of every individual workers or a number of employees effortlessly anytime, anyplace using any kind of web-enabled computers or even mobile devices.

For instance, you can allocate the staff people in the marketing division the privileges to get in work premises throughout weekdays through nine to five just, or prevent a particular worker from getting into the computer host room.

Features:

iGuard includes 3 built-in reports:
Access Log,Attendance Statement & Daily In/Out statement, that can be utilized via any kind of web-enabled computer along with web browser. Ought to more sophisticated reviews be required, for example for the payroll reasons, the information obtainable and held in Microsoft Stand out format as well as in plain text structure. In addition, the actual access information can be held in any Computer in the system in the well-renowned ODBC database structure in real-time method, and other applications may conveniently have the information in the ODBC (the required software, iServer can be obtained free-of-charge in our download page)

What you get with iGuard

Economical:
most all the necessary hardware and software is built-in towards the device, such as the hardware for connecting the system towards the corporate system. All you need to perform is plug-in the most popular RJ-45 network cable television to the back of the gadget. No other equipment and cabling is necessary. In comparison, all other current security methods use the aged RS232 & RS485 wiring system for connecting to the dedicated computers (to not the corporate system), and it generally involves procuring wiring functions.

Small Footprint:
iGuard is really a wall-mounted unit stylishly designed with very small impact. In fact, it's the smallest stand-alone biometrics gadget available in the market these days. It can be installed easily as well as conveniently with out requiring much space.
Simpleness:
iGuard is an Internet-Ready Security System, and is the foremost and the only system appliance protection product on the market that uses TCP/IP because the protocol to speak with other iGuards and also the outside world. The actual protocol allows the device to directly connect with the corporate system via the current cabling. And since the TCP/IP process is the Internet protocol, it enables all computer systems in the company network to gain access to the device using the Internet Browser software. Consequently, users don't need to learn to make use of a new software to gain access to and give the device, and many users can begin using the gadget in minutes. In comparison, all other comparable security methods use startling protocol & cabling, and complicated softwares are necessary to access scalping strategies. And for match ups purposes, iGuard will also support conventional connects including Wiegand, RS-485 & RS-232.
Protection :
The IG-ER-01 Safe Strike Exchange controller additionally increases the protection level through controlling the doorway strike from the inside of the property. With this optionally available controller, the actual iGuard sends a unique signal for this controller to spread out the door, instead of directly opening up the door using the internal exchange. Because this optionally available controller is actually installed within the premises, it's now impossible for the intruders to get involved with the property, even if these people destroy the actual iGuard.

How it works as an Access Control System

iGuard analyzes & compares a persons fingerprint against the previously enrolled record. If the two fingerprints match, the person is authenticated. And if the time is within the authorized period for entry, the device will signal release the electric door lock.

  • Access Time restriction - you can define the authorized time for each individual or for a group of individuals.
  • Terminal restriction - you can specify who has the rights to access a particular terminal. It is useful in a multi-device environment, where multiple doors are controlled by different devices.
  • Password/Fingerprint Access - you can define the period in which password can be used instead of fingerprint for access. This is particularly useful if you want to just use password to access during normal office hours, but to restrict the access to authorized people only after office hours.
The Access Control Mode controls the employees from entering the business premises. The system controls the electronic door strike to lock / unlock the door. Users can be assigned to different departments and the authorized time for members in each department can also be controlled. In a multi-device environment, the access rights for each department in accessing different terminals can also be assigned.

LAN/WAN Network Configuration
LAN Network
A typical network diagram showing multiple iGuard Systems connected through a corporate network. Each iGuard is assigned its own specific IP address. These systems can be set up in a master / slave configuration so that biometric template data is replicated automatically throughout the network on each iGuard. Optionally, the template matching can be performed on a secure server at a single point on the network. For this type of environment, the Client/Server iGuard is necessary.

WAN Network
This diagram shows multiple iGuard units connected through the Internet or over a WAN. This environment requires the master/slave configuration for template matching because of the latency on the network when retrieving templates and matching them to a central database over the WAN.
